Erin Snedecor finds optimism in strange places and writes music that takes you there. The Washington, D.C.-based cellist, vocalist, and composer works at the intersection of classical strings, singer-songwriter storytelling, and electronic textures. Influenced by artists like Zoë Keating and Andrew Bird, Erin has made a musical home for herself writing chamber pop that is emotionally resonant, compositionally rigorous, and alive in the room. Recent highlights include the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts supporting Sleater-Kinney, and a solo spotlight with the Washington Commanders NFL team.
